London 2012 confirms Torchbearers and street route
Hundreds of inspirational people from across the region have been confirmed as Torchbearers for the Torch Relay. Street level plans have also been released showing the route the Torch will take across the East Midlands.

Leicester to host Paralympic Torch Relay Flame Celebration
Leicester has been given the honour of being one of only 34 places in the UK to host a Flame Celebration as part of the Paralympic Torch Relay on Saturday 25 August 2012.
