Creative Innovation is a three-year business support programme for cultural businesses and practitioners in the East Midlands, part financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of Creative Innovation is to improve business performance across the region by encouraging innovative and new ways of working in the cultural sector, stimulating new work and products and increasing business performance by maximising the opportunity to access new markets through the annual Igniting Ambition festival showcases.

Foot in Hand were given a Creative Innovation new product development grant to create a new piece of work for the cultural celebrations which accompanied the Special Olympics in Leicester in 2009.
