Cultural programmes in the East midlands
Major contributions to the Cultural Olympiad in the East Midlands come from national initiatives such as Arts Council England’s Artists Taking the Lead and Unlimited commissions, Dress the World (part of the national Stories of the World programme) and the Legacy Trust UK’s Community Celebration, Games Time.
Combine this with the range of other projects that have been granted the Inspire Mark or included within the London 2012 Festival and the last year of the Cultural Olympiad programme in the East Midlands adds up to an extraordinary finale.
