On Your Bike

On Your Bike is a three-day programme of events on and around Derby’s Big Screen.

The themes of community empowerment and interdependence will manifest in a direct, live and visual way by the use of bicycle generated electricity to power various aspects of the programme so that groups taking part in sport and cultural activities at the three events will provide the power for each other’s performance.

Events will include have-a-go activities, sports demos, cultural performances, competitions and robot racing.
