A World of Ideas in a Week

World Event Young Artists is the first event of its kind.

In September 2012 it will showcase some of the best emerging creative talent from across the globe, bringing 1000 artists together in one city – Nottingham – for a festival that will stretch across artforms: from live music to dance, theatrical installations to spoken word, film to visual arts and gastronomy.

World Event Young Artists will attract international audiences and media attention as a unique opportunity to see, experience and interact with exciting new work from the next generation of artists and cultural practitioners. It will put Nottingham, and its line-up of internationally regarded cultural venues and alternative spaces on the map.

It builds on the success of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean and is hosted by UK Young Artists, who were supported by Igniting Ambition in 2010 for their first UK Young Artists event in Derby.
