Strive to Succeed 6c
Strive to succeed 6C is a climbing inspired project designed to attract new participants to take part in what is a new physical activity for the County.
The challenge involves four graded routes to climb, with 6C being the ultimate route to overcome in the centre before taking on more extreme levels of climbing. Young people can come along and test themselves on the different routes, with instruction by qualified coaches.
The project will educate young people that participating in physical activity isn’t just about exercise but it can also benefit them socially and break down barriers such as fear of heights, lack of confidence or even the feeling of failure. Through introducing Climbing the project wants to show that physical activity can be fun and enjoyable but also challenge us in many more ways.
