- Loughborough University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Team GB and the Japanese Olympic Committee.
- Support for major sporting events to held across the region, including participation activities.
- Support for the regional sports sector to deliver key outcomes, such as Volleyball England's new National Centre based in Kettering.
